Orthotic and Prosthetic Services
We provide medical Orthotic and Prosthetic services and focus our treatment on artificial limbs and other prostheses for amputees, and orthotic braces. Roger Wolfson also assists patients with questions about medical aids and Discovery Health.
Pediatrics Orthotics to children, like the Pavlik Harness brace used for the treatment in hip displacement in infants. We also provide Orthotic and Prosthetic support services to people with sports injuries, especially old soccer and rugby knee injuries. Many people experience plantar fasciitis or heel or bone spur. New Orthotic and Prosthetic Certifications
Roger Wolfson and Associates provides the C-Leg for Above Knee Amputees. The C-Leg was developed by Otto Bock, a German company and world leader in the manufacture of prosthetic devices and parts. Read more about the C-Leg from Otto Bock.
Roger Wolfson and Associates provides the Harmony Vacuum System for Below Knee Amputees. The Harmony vacuum system controls the volume of the residual limb and
prevents volume fluctuations. A total surface weight bearing socket is

Roger Wolfson and Associates provides the KAFO (Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthosis) orthosis, a long-leg orthosis that spans the knee, the ankle, and the foot in an effort to stabilize the joints and assist the muscles of the leg.The KAFO Orthosis was developed by Otto Bock, a German company and world leader in the manufacture of orthotic devices. Amputee Support Programme
Casey Wolfson, a Qualified Psychological Counsellor, has recently joined us as an associate. Casey offers our patients a variety of counselling, including trauma counselling as well as adjustment counselling for the families of amputees. Casey will soon be co-ordinating and facilitating our Amputee Support Programme, by providing further training and support to the Amputee Counsellors, and facilitating monthly amputee support groups.
